A.2. Keyboard Shortcuts

Overview

CogentAI AAS (AAS) provides keyboard shortcuts to move between screens and to search. This chapter collects the shortcut tables. Every user can use them, but the screens you can open depend on your permissions. The shortcut table is also available inside AAS. Press ? outside an input field, or select "Keyboard shortcuts" in the account menu on the top bar.

Command and Option are macOS keys (Option corresponds to Alt on Windows). On Windows and Linux, use Ctrl and Alt.

While Typing

  • g, /, ?, and Esc do not work inside a field where you type text. Click outside the field first.
  • Ctrl + K and Alt + Shift + H also work inside a field.

Screen Shortcuts

Press g, then press one letter within 1.5 seconds to open the matching screen. For example, press g then r to open "Scheduled jobs".

Pressing the letter of a screen that is not in your left menu does nothing. To check which screens are hidden from you because of permissions, see the "Who sees it" column in A.4. Finding Chapters by Menu.

Search and Go

  1. Press Ctrl + K (Command + K on macOS). The search window opens.
  2. Type a word to look for. The search finds screens, AI agent workspaces, skills, jobs, and API key and token names.
  3. Use the arrow keys to choose a result.
  4. Press Enter.

If it succeeds, the screen you chose opens. If no results appear, try a different word. Press Esc to close the search window.
